Halloween Night

 GSO will be organizing a Halloween Night !!! .
The event will be held on the 1st November, 2013 at the CNP or Snack Lounge above the cafeteria. It will commence at 19.00  and ends at 00.00.
To make this party special from previous years several new changes and special spices will be added to the party to make it fun for all students and the families.
There will be a special performance from IUJ Hip-Hop club, games for students and kids, sweets for kids and many more.
Most importantly best costume of the Halloween Night will be selected and a price will be given too.  Kids best costume will be selected 19.00 – 21.00 and students’ best costume will be selected  after that. In this regard, every one is encouraged to come up with creative designs of a Halloween costume such a cross- cultural costume or even fancy costumes.
Anyway if do not have or cannot buy Halloween costume for some reason or the other, you should not be deterred to attend since the party is for everyone. Simply you can wear anything !!
And there will be buses leaving from IUJ at 22.00 and 23.30 for those who are living outside the campus.
Furthermore, if you have any new idea regarding games to be played, be there any particular music you want to play or you want to perform  to make the Halloween night more fun, please inform GSO by an e-mail before 24th October.

About IR Councils

GSIR Council Poster Fall 2013

The International Relations Council (IR-Council) is a student elected body for the GSIR program. The IR-Council exists to help serve as an ACADEMIC intermediary between students and faculty – an honest and private third party. In addition to helping solve any academic issues, IR-Council also tries to bring the different GSIR schools together for events such as thesis discussion, special lectures, movie or game nights, and via our IRC Tribune – a student produced newspaper where you can share ideas and events happening around the globe.

About IM Council

IMC 2013 -- Official (revised)

The International Management Council (IM-Council) is a student elected body for the GSIM program. IM Council is an organization that strives to improve the academic environment at the Graduate School of International Management by working closely with students, faculty members, and the administration.

A brief idea about the kind of events IM council in academic year 2011-2012:

  1. “IM-Connected” – Welcome party for the 1st year IM students.
  2. “Peer Facilitator” – IM-Council will arrange few sessions on how to manage your study at IUJ.
  3. “Sempai-Kohai Extended” – Candid Networking event with 2nd year IM students.
  4. “Introduction of New courses” – On the request of students, IM-Council played a pivotal role in arranging for new courses.
  5. “Resolved academic problems” – IM-Council actively listened and tried to resolve issues about Classes, Professors, and TA sessions.
  6. “Dean’s Hour” – Every term IM-Council organizes an event where you get a chance to directly talk to the Dean himself.
  7. “Takeda Business Idea Competition” – IM-Council helped in shortlisted the team that represented IUJ in a business idea competition in Osaka.
